FAQs
If you can't find the answer to your question below or you are looking for a quote, please head to my contact page to get in touch.
How do I place an order?
Visit the contact page on my website and complete the form or email direct.
Please remember to give as much information as possible including flavours, design, budget and the date. Once you have confirmed your order a 50% deposit is due, the remaining balance is then due two weeks prior to the date.
How far in advance do I need to order?
As much notice as possible is always best as I only have limited spaces a week. However, if you are in need of a last minute order then please still get in touch.
What flavours do you do?
Take a look at the flavour pages for inspiration. If the flavour you are after isn't there, just ask!
Do you deliver?
Yes but there will be an additional charge.
This will need to be discussed on initial order requests. All tiered cakes are delivery only and the price will be included in your quote.
Are your cakes suitable for vegetarians and intolerances?
Most cakes and cupcakes are vegetarian and I am very conscious of people's allergens so please do let me know at the time of booking if any of your guests have specific dietary requirements.
Please be aware that nuts, gluten and dairy are handled in the kitchen and so although orders can be made "free-from", there may still be traces.
How do I look after my cake?
If you are collecting your cake please place this somewhere flat in your car like a footwell or boot, to avoid the cake sloping whilst transporting it. DO NOT transport the cake on a seat.
In warmer months, ensure the air conditioning is on in your car and do not allow the cake to sit out for an extended period of time.
All cakes will need to be stored in the fridge until you are ready to serve. Allow the cake to come to room temperature before digging in.
How long will my cake/cupcakes last?
Everything is baked fresh to order and is best eaten on the day of collection/delivery, however they will last for 2-3 days after. Once cut, wrap in cling film and keep in an air tight container. Alternatively, slice the cake into portions and wrap each in cling film then foil and place in the freezer.
